Giving Day

Thank you, thank you, thank you! We're so grateful for the 1,028 donors who supported the Durham Academy Giving Day effort and helped us surpass our participation goal of 1,000 donors! And we raised $467,954 for DA!

Together, we also reminded each other of our dedication to DA, and of our dedication to getting involved on behalf of our community. 

• The Class of 2002 scored bragging rights as the highest-participating alumni class.

• Pre-kindergarten distinguished itself with the highest participation among all parents and caregivers in the Preschool/Lower School

• Seventh grade took home honors for the Middle School, and 10th grade won out at the Upper School.

A few special call-outs from this year:

• $80,000 was unlocked through challenge gifts.

• Alumni in 32 states plus Washington, D.C., and Canada, England, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands contributed.

• We had an incredible 362 alumni donors.

• 221 faculty and staff members contributed, demonstrating their belief in DA students, their colleagues and our school's mission.
