Parents Association & Parents Council

The Durham Academy Parents Association supports the school's academic, social, fine arts and athletic objectives. Parents Association encourages volunteerism, raises and disperses funds, promotes communication and cooperation, and provides input to the school on issues of concern and interest to parents. All Durham Academy parents are members of the Parents Association.

The Durham Academy Parents Council is the governing board of the Parents Association. This group comprises members of an executive committee; division representatives; members of schoolwide committees on matters such as diversity, wellness and athletics; and parents who organize both community-building and fundraising events. DA's Annual Golf Tournament is Thursday, May 2

Durham Academy's 19th Annual Golf Tournament is on Thursday, May 2, at Croasdaile Country Club. The fun begins with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

A number of faculty who love to participate in this annual event are looking for full or partial sponsors. Donate a full faculty sponsorship for $350 or make a smaller donation that may be pooled with others.

Whether you’re a scratch player or novice, join us on the links for a day of camaraderie with fellow parents, friends and alumni. Proceeds from the tournament support important programs at DA, including financial aid, technology, athletics, wellness programs and much more. The player fee is $350 (of which $200 is tax-deductible). Put together a foursome or let us arrange one for you.
