Parents Association & Parents Council

The Durham Academy Parents Association supports the school's academic, social, fine arts and athletic objectives. Parents Association encourages volunteerism, raises and disperses funds, promotes communication and cooperation, and provides input to the school on issues of concern and interest to parents. All Durham Academy parents are members of the Parents Association.

The Durham Academy Parents Council is the governing board of the Parents Association. This group comprises members of an executive committee; division representatives; members of schoolwide committees on matters such as diversity, wellness and athletics; and parents who organize both community-building and fundraising events. Donations Needed for Used Book Sale's Bake Sale

Parents, please consider donating items for the Used Book Sale's Bake Sale, which will be set up April 25 and 26.

Needed items include prepackaged snacks, individually wrapped homemade baked goods (please label if they contain nuts), and single-serve beverages such as Gatorades or Izze juices.

You can bring your items to the Middle School gym anytime from April 23–26. Lower School and Middle School parents, please note that volunteers will be collecting donations at morning carpool on April 23 and 24.
