Parents Association & Parents Council

The Durham Academy Parents Association supports the school's academic, social, fine arts and athletic objectives. Parents Association encourages volunteerism, raises and disperses funds, promotes communication and cooperation, and provides input to the school on issues of concern and interest to parents. All Durham Academy parents are members of the Parents Association.

The Durham Academy Parents Council is the governing board of the Parents Association. This group comprises members of an executive committee; division representatives; members of schoolwide committees on matters such as diversity, wellness and athletics; and parents who organize both community-building and fundraising events. School Store Holiday Sale Set for Dec. 12–20

Does your holiday shopping list include a Cav fanatic? Then put the Durham Academy Store's annual holiday sale on your to-do list! All clothing and gift items will be 15 percent off from Wednesday, Dec. 12, to Thursday, Dec. 20.

There's something for every Cavalier, from cozy sweatshirt and sweatshirts, to jackets, T-shirts and pajama bottoms. The store also offers tumblers, bottles, blankets and bow ties bearing the DA logo.

The store is located in the Upper School Learning Commons, which is open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
