All-School Picnic: Oct. 21, 2018

Turkey Trot 5K and Fun Run: Nov. 18, 2018

Benefit Auction: April 6, 2019

The benefit auction is Parents Council's signature fundraising event. A gala is held every other year, with the fundraiser being online-only in even years. The 2019 event will take the form of a gala on Saturday, April 6. Learn more.

Thanks to the support of the Durham Academy community, The Green & White Gala auction was an enormous success — netting a record-setting $270,000 for Parents Association!
We're delighted to introduce a brand-new Dine for DA offering this spring thanks to a partnership with Durham Catering! Through Durham Catering's Kitchen Table Dinners service, your family can enjoy scratch-made, locally sourced meals from the comfort of your own home. The meals are provided to you (either picked up or delivered for an extra fee) fully cooked; you just place in your fridge or freezer, and then heat and eat at your convenience. And best of all, 20% of the purchase price of orders placed in the month of May will come back to Durham Academy!
Parents, please consider donating items for the Used Book Sale's Bake Sale, which will be set up April 25 and 26.
The Durham Academy Parents Council invites ALL parent volunteers to join us for a Volunteer Appreciation Coffee and General Membership meeting on Thursday, April 18. The gathering is scheduled for 8:15 a.m. in Brumley Performing Arts Building at the Lower School.
It is that time of year again! Durham Academy's Parents Council, the governing body of the DA Parents Association, is laying the groundwork for the 2019–2020 year and is calling for nominations for our executive committee and division representative positions.

Join us for our first Dine for DA event of 2019 at City Barbeque on Thursday, Feb. 21! In addition to being a fun community event, 25 percent of all purchases made by DA community members will come back to DA Parents Association.
The Used Book Sale collection efforts are off to a terrific start, with thousands of books donated already. Many of these books are particularly appropriate for Preschool readers, so the Used Book Sale committee will once again host a Preschool Mini Used Book Sale on Friday, Nov. 30.
