Event Recap:

The DA girls used doubles and depth to take a 9-0 win over Providence Day Saturday morning.  The win is the Cavs 8th in a row as they are now 12-1 on the year.  In doubles play, the top two teams of Galloway/Towning and Callwood/George took 8-1 wins to put DA up 2-0.  On court 3, the captain team of Julia King and Nicole Riepl were struggling trailing 2-5.  The key game of the match was the 8th as PD had 3 chances to take a commanding 6-2 lead.  Riepl and King were able to survive that game and ended up winning the final six games for an 8-5 win.  They remain unbeaten at 3rd doubles.  In singles play, Galloway was first off on court 2 as she did not drop a game.  Towning followed with a 2&0 win on 1 to clinch the match.  George, Taylor Hunter, Mukta Dharmapurikar and Emma Whitehurst all won in straight sets to complete the 9-0 win.
