Kindergarten Teaching Assistant

Start Date: Aug. 1, 2019

Durham Academy is accepting applications for a Kindergarten Teaching Assistant. Responsibilities include: setting learning goals with lead teacher; planning collaboratively with lead teacher to implement goals; working with children on academic tasks in small groups; leading whole-group instruction when appropriate; traveling to Enrichment Classes with students; and other duties as requested by lead classroom teacher.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (preferably in education), experience working with children in an educational environment, a history of dedicated colleagueship, and a radiant love of children, teaching, and learning.
