Parents of Lower School and Middle School students are asked to provide input on the future of the Middle School campus at a Master Planning Charrette set for Tuesday, March 28.
When: March 28
- Lower School parent session: 9 - 10:30 a.m.
- Middle School parent session: 1 - 2:30 p.m.
Where: Middle School Board Room
The session will be led by Cannon Architects. This is an opportunity to provide input on potential design characteristics for the comprehensive Middle School renovation. Parents may attend either session.
Parents will learn about the current Middle School campus configuration and some of the developmental, curricular and topographic decisions that influenced the Middle School's current layout, followed by an input session on what future design characteristics might be ideal. Parents will also learn about the timeline for Middle School master planning and the different constituent groups involved in the decision-making process.
The Middle School Master Planning Charrette is the result of several key decisions about Durham Academy's future tied to the 2015 Strategic Plan.
