| 'Think, act, try, love.' JV boys soccer team dedicates season to Chris Rosati '89 Twenty-six years after he last suited up in a Cavaliers uniform, Durham Academy graduate Chris Rosati '89 still dreams of soccer. At DA, "soccer was my game," he says. "It opened doors, introduced me to friends I still have today. The game and everything around it taught me a lot." So the news that DA's JV boys soccer team has dedicated its 2015 season to Rosati meant a lot to him — and not just because it had him pining for his glory days on the field. Rosati can no longer run down the field or kick a soccer ball. He can't cheer for his team with the same gusto that he once could. Faculty Spotlight: Pre-k teacher, basketball coach Nikki Graves Nikki Graves didn't know quite how to take it when her fourth-grade teacher said she had a very commanding presence. "But I figured out pretty fast that meant somewhere down the line I was supposed to be in a leadership role." And lead, she has. Graves began playing basketball when she was six, and at age eight she scored 56 points in a 58-53 victory.
