New viewbook theme reflects DA beliefs

How do you tell the story of Durham Academy to a parent who has never experienced it yet? How do you convey DA’s values, its vision, its mission and its heart in a way that convinces families that they belong here?

The centerpiece of that conversation, for any family interested in DA, is the admissions viewbook. It is the universal touchpoint every prospective family has with the school — a print piece that represents the core of who we are and what we do.

Inaugural all-school pep rally will

light up Kirby Gym on Oct. 2

It's been seven long years since the entire Durham Academy student body — from the widest-eyed pre-kindergartners to those seasoned seniors twice their height — has gathered in one place. Instead he’s teaching language to teenagers. He’s new this year at Durham Academy Upper School, and he wants his students to enjoy French as much as he does.

Both the Middle School field hockey and soccer white teams began the season at 2-0, and the large junior varsity cross country team is off to a great start with some outstanding early season performances.     Read More
