| Liz Roberts sets new hoops points record Even if she wanted to, it would be difficult for Liz Roberts to escape the significance of her latest accomplishment on the Kirby Gym hardwood. Every day, as the Durham Academy senior passes through the gym lobby, she walks alongside Athletic Hall of Fame plaques honoring DA girls basketball legends Katie O'Connor '95 and Patricia Biggs Porcelli '84. Both went down in the DA record books for holding all-time school records for points scored — records that Roberts has now eclipsed.
