| Chinese students' visit marks beginning of new DA exchange With the arrival of 25 Chinese students to Durham in mid-January, a new student exchange between Durham Academy and Beijing Experimental High School was born — resulting in a transaction of customs, languages and ideas. DA families hosted 13 of the student visitors to Durham, while the other 12 visitors resided at the N.C. School of Science and Math during the visit, which began Jan. 25 and is set to conclude Feb. 7. The Middle School librarian was among just seven librarians from around the country selected to serve on the 2015 Geisel Award selection committee, which announced this year's medal winner, You Are (Not) Small, on Monday.
