| | Spanish exchange offers students from both sides of the pond a new perspective Durham Academy works to shape students into global learners in myriad ways, and one of the most concrete examples of this is the school's biennial exchange with Madre de Dios school in Madrid. On Aug. 31, 18 adventurous Spaniards — 16 students and two chaperones — touched down at Raleigh-Durham International Airport to a chorus of cheers from a welcoming committee of host families. Read More School Tool Box fundraiser is a hit The first year of Durham Academy Parents Association's School Tool Box fundraiser — through which Lower School and Middle School parents were offered the opportunity to order pre-packaged school supply kits online — was a great success, selling a total of 200 boxes and raising $711.21. Read More Innisbrook fundraiser rolling along The Innisbrook fall fundraiser is in full swing! Durham Academy Parents Association's 2014 fall fundraiser began Sept. 2 and will run through Monday, Sept. 22. One of Parents Association's biggest fundraisers of the year, this program offers parents the opportunity to purchase unique giftwrap and fun gifts and support the school at the same time.
