Admission Events

Let’s get to know each other! When choosing a school for your family, a good match is everything. You want a school community in which your family feels at home and your child will thrive. Our Enrollment Management team hosts events throughout the year to help prospective families determine whether or not Durham Academy might be a good match for them.

Small-Group Tours

Small Group Tours offer prospective families the opportunity to see learning in action at DA. Along with a handful of other interested families, you’ll take a guided tour of indoor and outdoor spaces for learning and recreation. These tours are led by a member of our Enrollment Management team or a school administrator.

Student Shadow Days

Students play an important role in a family's school decision process, so we encourage prospective students to come check out Durham Academy for themselves! Student Shadow Days are offered several times throughout the year to enable prospective students entering grades 5 to 12 to spend a day at DA with a student host.

Information Sessions

Each fall, we host two Information Sessions per school division. These events offer opportunities to learn more about DA via presentations from division directors, our head of school, and the Enrollment Management team.

While our Fall 2024 Information Sessions have concluded (stay tuned for Fall 2025 dates), we would be delighted to share video recordings with you.

  • Monday, Dec. 9, 2024
Admission & Financial Aid Notification Dates:
  • Friday, Feb. 21, 2025: Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
  • Friday, March 7, 2025: Grades 1 to 12
