Admission Events

Let’s get to know each other! When choosing a school for your family, a good match is everything. You want a school community in which your family feels at home and your child will thrive. Our Enrollment Management team hosts events throughout the year to help prospective families determine whether or not Durham Academy might be a good match for them.

Information Sessions

Each fall, we host two Information Sessions per school division. These events offer opportunities to learn more about DA via presentations from school leaders and the Enrollment Management team. Preschool/Lower School Information Sessions feature panels of current parents, while Middle School and Upper School Information Sessions feature panels of current students.

While our Fall 2025 Information Sessions have concluded, you may request access to video recordings of this year's events below.  

Small Group Tours

See learning in action at Durham Academy! Along with a handful of other interested families, you’ll take a guided tour of indoor and outdoor spaces for learning and recreation. These tours are led by a member of our Enrollment Management team, school administrator, or Upper School student. 

Student Shadow Days

Students play an important role in a family's school decision process, so we encourage prospective students to come check out Durham Academy for themselves! Student Shadow Days are offered several times throughout the year to enable prospective students entering grades 5 to 12 to spend a day at DA with a student host. Meet Our Student Ambassador Leadership Council.

Admission & Financial Aid Notification Dates:
  • Friday, Feb. 20, 2026: Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
  • Friday, March 6, 2026: Grades 1 to 12
