Student Shadow Days
Students play an important role in a family's school decision process, so we encourage prospective students to come check out Durham Academy for themselves!
Student Shadow Days are offered several times throughout the year to enable prospective students entering grades 5 to 12 to spend a day at DA with a student host.
Prospective students spend the day attending classes with their student host. During their visit, students have an opportunity to meet teachers in the grades in which they may be applying, experience the schedule and rotation of classes, and get to know potential classmates. A family does not need to have an application on file for a prospective student to visit our campus.
Student Shadow Days have concluded for the 2019–2020 school year; please check this page again for information on the 2020–2021 school year.
Student Ambassador Leadership Council
What is it really like to be a Durham Academy student? One of the best ways to find out is by getting to know members of the Student Ambassador Leadership Council! Collectively, these students are involved in all facets of life at DA, and they're eager to share about their experiences with parents who attend campus tours, and with prospective students who participate in Upper School Student Shadow Days.
