Middle School Curriculum

This concentration enables woodwind and brass instrumentalists to hone their technique, expand their knowledge of music theory concepts, dive into music composition and improvisation, experiment with music technology, rehearse and perform music literature (from a variety of styles and genres), and perform for the school community and beyond. Seventh- and eighth-grade students who have completed the trimester band exploration or who have experience playing a wind instrument may register for this course. DA will provide an instrument for students if they need one.
