Learning and play can be paired together to generate lasting memories. This summer, classrooms on Durham Academy’s beautiful Upper School campus will transform to become experiential learning labs in our Summer Institute, DA’s all-day, deep-dive option for older campers who are interested in intellectual adventures.
The Summer Institute aims to be an active, engaging learning environment. Whether it’s passion projects or academic enrichments, campers can spend the summer pursuing something they love. If they are looking for healthy challenges, this is the summer camp for them! Our top-notch instructors have designed courses with motivated learners in mind. We’ll also be leveraging our university partnerships to give our campers unparalleled access to high-level learning through our unique, specialized programming.
A major benefit of spending the summer learning at DA is the confidence a camper can gain in a subject area. Our courses are designed to help campers from all schools remain academically engaged and enriched over the summer, so that when they return to school in the fall, they have positioned themselves well for success!
Each course is held Monday–Friday from 8:30–3:30 p.m.
