Durham Academy Homecoming is just around the corner, and it promises to be the biggest celebration yet!
We're looking forward to the full DA community — from pre-k Cavs to seniors to alumni, and teachers to parents to grandparents — gathering for the schoolwide festivities in the afternoon/evening. We'll have a lively atmosphere, including food trucks, bounce houses and, of course, exciting athletics competitions.
And there's lots of fun in store during the school day as well, so students will want to wear their most spirited green and white attire all day long!

Students in all grade levels are encouraged to show their spirit all day long, as each division has something special planned for the school day:

- Lower School: Unity Day (Show off your most spirited green and white!)
- Middle School: Spirit Week — School Spirit Dress Day
- Upper School: Spirit Week — Green & White Day
Does your Cavaliers wardrobe need an update? The Durham Academy school store has tons of fresh new merch showcasing DA's new branding (including Blade and Puppy Blade!). And for the week of Homecoming (Sept. 22–26), the store is offering a 20% discount on one DA-branded item.
- Stop by the store in the Upper School Learning Commons, open school days from 8 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
- There will also be a pop-up shop at the schoolwide Homecoming celebration; look for a table set up near the track. (Student account charges and credit cards will be accepted.)

Say Hi to DA Alumni 👋
You might see some familiar faces as alumni and their families gather for an Alumni Homecoming BBQ.
Later in the weekend, members of classes ending in 0s and 5s will celebrate their milestone graduation anniversaries with a reunion social.
