Congratulations are in order to our girls golf team for winning the Triangle Independent Schools Athletic Conference championship on Monday! The Cavs edged out North Raleigh Christian Academy by one stroke.

Your Cavalier teams will host a flurry of postseason events on Saturday. Tickets are required for NCISAA tournament events. They are $7 each and can be purchased at www.da.org/athletics/tickets.
Students and children are admitted free, as well as faculty and staff. A ticket purchased at any of our three events is valid for all events at DA this Saturday.
Saturday Schedule:
11 a.m: Girls Tennis — DA vs. winner of NRCA/Ravenscroft School
*Approx. 2 p.m.: Volleyball — DA vs. winner of Charlotte Latin/Providence Day School (Note that his time has not been confirmed and may move to noon or 1 p.m.)
4 p.m.: Boys Soccer — DA vs. Winner of NRCA/Charlotte Country Day School
Winter is Coming
Winter athletics are right around the corner. All tryout participants must have a valid physical on file uploaded through Magnus prior to participating in activities beginning Oct. 31.

GIRLS GOLF
The girls golf team is currently ranked No. 1 in the state. The Cavs won the TISAC championship on Monday, beating second-place NRCA by a score of 106–107! The golf team competes in the state tournament on Monday at Bryan Park in Greensboro.
BOYS SOCCER
The boys soccer team finished the season 13–3–1 and secured a top-4 seed in the NCISAA tournament (receiving a double-bye). They will play at home Saturday at 4 p.m. vs. the winner of NRCA/Charlotte Country Day.
VOLLEYBALL
The Cavs finished 16–6 and received the No. 2 overall seed in the NCISAA tournament. The team also received a double-bye and will host either Charlotte Latin or Providence Day on Saturday.
FIELD HOCKEY
The field hockey team ended the regular season with their second win of the season over Cape Fear Academy. The young group of players showed tremendous growth and spirit all season. They opened up postseason play Tuesday at Cary Academy but fell 1–0.
GIRLS TENNIS
The girls tennis team finished the regular season 17–2 and received the No. 2 seed in the NCISAA tournament. They also received a double-bye and will play host to either NRCA or Ravenscroft on Saturday at 11 a.m.
BOYS CROSS-COUNTRY
The boys cross-country team competes in the TISAC conference meet today at 5:30 p.m. at the WakeMed cross-country course.
GIRLS CROSS-COUNTRY
The girls cross-country team competes in the TISAC conference meet today at 4:45 p.m. at the WakeMed cross-country course.
