Pronto-Harris Basketball Skill Development Program (Spring 2023)

A program that provides fifth- and sixth-grade athletes an opportunity to develop the key basketball skills that are necessary to enhance their game, while also learning how to become a positive contributing member of the DA basketball culture.

*What this is NOT:

Babysitting/childcare, introduction to basketball, open gym/league/scrimmaging.

*What this IS:

an opportunity for kids who are serious about improving their skills.

We believe:

  • The basketball skill development that we teach should be leveled and designed for positive progress.

  • Learning how to respond to challenges is essential to the process of improvement.

  • The elements of culture that we teach should be consistent and expected.

  • Competing/learning to compete is FUNdamental to growth as a basketball player.

Monday: Girls, grades 5 and 6 (3:30–4:45 p.m.)

Parent Athletic Committee Volunteers Needed

Cavalier Athletics would not be as successful without the help of our Parent Athletic Committee (PAC). This committee is a valuable asset to the Athletics Department and our student-athletes.

While our current volunteers are phenomenal, we are in need of additional volunteers! The spring season is our busiest season.

Please consider signing up to volunteer in the concession stand. It is a great social activity allowing for interactions with students, coaches and staff, as well as impacting the atmosphere in a positive manner.

We cannot do it without your help. Thank you in advance!
