The DA Used Book Sale is a DA and Durham community event. More than 15,000 books are collected throughout the year, culminating with a book sale and bake sale in April. Donations of books will be accepted all school year up until just before the sale. Collection points are centrally located in each division.

DA Athletic Director Steve Engebretsen oversees the operations of the Athletics Committee, comprising parents, teachers and coaches, to promote the role of athletic competition at DA in grades 7-12.
