Upper School Learning Commons

The Upper School's Learning Commons was designed to act as the heart of the school. It is a combined computer lab, library, study area and social hub.

Our goal is to use our LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standard building to its greatest capacity, and to enable the healthy growth and enjoyment of Durham Academy's students, parents, faculty and staff.

The library houses more than 10,000 print resources including fiction, non-fiction, reference, and periodical collections. In addition to physical resources, Durham Academy subscribes to online databases to meet the research needs of our student population. These databases offer full-text access to thousands of scholarly journals, multimedia resources, and more.

Students, faculty and parents have 24/7 access to library resources via our online catalog and student portal.
