 | Fifth- and sixth-grade students may choose to play Intramural Sports. Fifth-grade games are played on Tuesday and are finished by 3:40 p.m. Sixth-grade fall and winter games are played on Thursday from 3:15-4 p.m. Spring games for sixth-grade are played on both Tuesday and Thursday.
There is some teaching of skills, but fun, good sportsmanship, and participation are stressed above winning. The Intramural Sports seasons are: volleyball, soccer, 5th grade softball, and 6th grade basketball. Each May there is a Track and Field Day. All teams are coed, and each advisory fields a team. Students who sign up may play one season or several.
In order to maintain team continuity, children should make a commitment to be present at as many games as possible. Schedules are given to all players prior to each season so parents can plan accordingly. The fifth- and sixth-grade faculty supervise all games.
