Event Recap:
The DA boys improved to 5-1 following a 71-47 road win Tuesday night at Voyager Academy.  Junior Bryant Randleman had his second straight double-double and finished two assists shy of a triple-double in his 19 point/10 rebound/8 assist performance.  Junior Michael Savarino was 6-7 from the field and shook off a mid-game elbow to the eye to finish with 18 points, 7 boards, 3 assists and 2 steals.  Savarino hit a three just five seconds into the game as the Cavs led from start to finish.  A 9-2 run to end the first quarter gave the Cavs an 18-9 lead headed to the second.  The Vikings would hang around as it was just a three point Cav lead with 3 mins to go in the half.  A late 9-3 run to end the half was fueled by by baskets by Randleman, Jack McCallie (12 points/4 boards/3 assists) and Cole Sinclair (9 points - all in the first half).  The Cavs would break the game open with another patented third quarter offensive performance.  DA would score the first 10 points of period and overall would use a 34-11 run over a span of 11:30 from the end of the second quarter to early in the fourth.  The Cavs built a 26 point lead late and would win by 24.  The Vikings, ranked 17th in the N&O poll fell to 3-3 while the Cavs, ranked 24th, are now 5-1.
