Event Recap:

The DA girls tennis team took down public school power East Chapel Hill 6-3 tonight to improve to 5-1 on the year.  The Cavs relied on great play tonight from sophomores Madeline Towning and Renee George who combined to win at 2nd doubles and then each winning their singles match.  Alexis Galloway shook off an 0-3 start at 2nd singles for a 7-6, 6-0 win in the match clincher.  8th grader Mukta Dharmapurikar, thrown into the lineup due to an injury, played with poise and toughness in her 6-3, 7-6 win on court 6.  The doubles team of captains Nicole Riepl and Julia King remain unbeaten with an 8-3 win on court 3.
