In overture's world premiere at DA, bands

demonstrate that music knows no age

The piece, which celebrates America's great diversity of people, was a fitting selection for the combined music group of young and more seasoned musicians. Present for the world premiere was the composer of the piece, Sy Brandon, who led Middle Schoolers through music workshops earlier in the day. Learn more about the DA-New Horizons partnership, now in its 13th year, and the world premiere in this video.
