Saturday, March 31, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
Sunday, April 1, 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm (bag sale)
Donations accepted: adult and children’s books, textbooks, CDs, DVDs and videos
Donations may be dropped off at the following collection sites:
Lower School – Lobby
Middle School – Flag Pole
Upper School – Kenan Auditorium
Volunteer Opportunities
(DA Parents, Staff, and other affiliated individuals only)
Volunteers are encouraged and ALWAYS welcomed!
Monthly, volunteers meet in the Used Book Sale “tunnel” at the Middle School to organize the books into categories based on reader age and book type. Volunteers can come for the entire time or for an hour or two – whatever your schedule allows! It’s a great way to meet other parents, catch up with old friends, learn more about the DA community and get involved at the school all at the same time!

Move Books from Middle School Tunnel to Gym

Volunteers will either help with loading and unloading books from vehicles for the move or arranging the books on the sale tables.
The tunnel is located on the back side of the Middle School, on the lower level of Building 400, facing the basketball court and around the corner from the Extended Day room.
